Pipe Vs. Shisha

Shisha, also called Hookah, is a smoking device where you the smoke comes through water pipe. Unlike pipes where you directly inhale smoke, with Shisha you inhale smoke filtered through water. If you have tried both shisha and pipe, how do you compare?

I spent time enjoying the Hookah.
I prefer the ease of carrying a pipe around with me though.
And the briar normally used in most pipes adds to the flavor of the mix.
I found the water pipes tended to mute it.

My son was into the shisha back when he was in his 20's. The funny thing was, he griped about me smoking my pipes and cigars in the house (where he lived) but he thought it was fine for him to fire up his stuff.:ROFLMAO:

Told him when he made payments on the house, taxes and insurance, he could then gripe, but until then be happy he had a roof over his head!
But I generally smoked outside anyway. He'd grip when I'd walk into the house from doing yard work to get a drink or being outside cooking and needing something from inside and still have the pipe or cigar going.

Pipes and cigars are for us old classic folks while shisha is for all these new generation kids. I had to give it a try once just to know what it feels like. I will never choose it over pipes and cigars.

I've never smoked shisha for once in my life and I don't think there is anything that would prompt me to giving it a trial because it is not something that I feel comfortable doing. So, I will stick with smoking of pipes.
