Do you "mix" your own blends?

I've found some nice mixtures (mainly the old McClelland offerings) that turned out pretty well (one was near Frog Morton's base blend).
Have you found any blends from providers that you've mixed that have been as good as (or better) than what some tobacco companies do?

I used to play with the McClelland tobaccos as you could get some pretty good combinations worked up.
I have also dabbled with some of the bulk tobacco that I purchase from Pipes & Cigars.
The two bulk lines I use are frequently Sutliff and Cornell & Diehl.

As I don’t smoke, I’ve never mixed tobacco. I have seen some friends do it, and they’ve shared a positive experience from the combinations. Most smokers I know are afraid to try combinations as it could result in an expensive mistake for them

I have never tried mixing and creating own blends, I have seen some people do it and even tried one or two puffs. I had a bought of cough and decided to never try again.

If you know what your flavor profile is, you can get some really nice blends that you won't be able to purchase from a vendor.
The sad thing is, many of the tobaccos that were used to create some nice blends are no longer available.
