Cold weather smoking

Opus X

Puff Daddy
I used to sit out in the garage to enjoy a pipe or a cigar. In the colder weather I would have a space heater plugged in and going near me and have the garage door open.
I no longer can do this so am left with either sitting out in the yard in a yard chair to smoke or doing without.

What solution(s) do you use for this if you are not allowed to smoke inside the house?

Generally what I do is just grab the old heated motorcycle gear, one of the battery boxes I have set up for my astrophotography equipment and 5.5x2.5mm extension cable and then go sit out plugged up wrapped in electric heating for my body. I'll wear a hooded jacket over the electric top and that way I can cover my head.

I never liked smoking inside. Unless I was in a restaurant, I have never smoked indoors. If it is too cold to go outside, I just avoid smoking.

Sometimes it is nice to just sit out in the yard at night when it is quiet and look at the sky.
I have seen several meteors and a few bolide's in the past.
But when it gets down to around 45 degrees it is getting too cold for me.

I have been known to be down around freezing, but generally I have the old electric motorcycle gear plugged in. There is just something about a nice, cold, crisp night with a good bowl of spicy tobacco and perhaps a hot drink to sip on.

I'm not allowed to smoke in my house for any reason because of my daughter. The smoke isn't good for her health. I'll never do anything that's going to compromise that. I always have to smoke outside.

It is actually more soothing for me to smoke when it is cold as long as I can comfortably stay outside in the cold. I can always smoke my pipe without having to worry about anything.

Once it's down to freezing, it's too cold for me to sit just to smoke a pipe.
Now, I have been known to erect a barrier back in the day when playing with the telescopes outside and then have a heater in there going.
