Which is your favorite?
Personally, I like the more Latakia forward style English/Balkan blends for the spice you get from them.

I don’t really have a favourite, as I’ve never smoked before. Although, I dont really like spice so probably would opt for the first if I was a smoker. Why do you like the Latakia forward style more?

Why do you like the Latakia forward style more?

The flavors are richer/fuller to me. The Latakia adds a pleasant "smokiness" to the tobacco. Since it has a balanced pH level it does not tend to bite the tongue like some tobaccos of similar nature do, resulting an a more pleasant smoke. It also tends to be lower in nicotine content. It's frequently compared as having a smell similar to some incense as it burns, so it's generally a more pleasant smoke for others to be around.
